Parts from donor Granada 86-92:
Diff - drive shafts, rear hub assemblies, hand brake lever, steering column, rack & link shaft. Brake & throttle pedal assembly & servo. Wiper motor complete. Front hubs complete. Engine & gearbox (save mounting rubbers), front door handles & catches, wiring loom, radiator, battery (save the log bolt from your diff), brake T piece, heater complete, wing mirrors for motors. If you car has an in-tank fuel pump, we will need it for the top ring & swirl pot to make your new fibreglass tank. You will need front window motors from a Mk5 Escort for your new windows.

Build Guide:
To save explaining we have decided to assemble the front and rear suspension prior to collection.

Rear Drive Train:
Fit diff in locating flanges using (saved) long bolt and other bolts in build kit. Fit hubs in carriers with callipers facing forwards and cables pointing downwards, re-connect drive shafts. Re-fit handbrake cables through chassis tubes, fit handbrake lever to cross bars on centre tunnel and connect cables to same.

Front Suspension:
Pre-fitted loosely as will need final adjustment. Bottom ball joint hole will need slight enlargement (we will explain, it is very simple). Mount hub on bottom ball joint, the top is held down by the mushroom being pushed down into the McPhearson strut hole and pinched up by the bolt. To adjust camber simply screw top drag link in or out.

Steering Rack:
Simply drop the 2 bolts in and tighten. Screw the 2 rack extensions into the track rod ends using thread lock and attach to the rack. To fit steering column, first clamp in vice above triangle bottom shaft and pull triangle shaft to extend column by 2 1/2 inches. Fit original lower column bush into bulk head hole, insert column through bush and fit top to plate on chassis, connect rack to column with link rod, this part needs extending, we can do this for you free of charge. Fit wheels, you now have a rolling chassis (now go for lunch!).

Fuel pipes are rooted down inside of the top tunnel rails, as is rear the brake pipe. With ABS brakes, do not lose middle female union on servo, they are hard to come by. Make sure you fit pipes in engine bay in same order as the donor car, using top rails and bulk heads as fixing points. (P-clips to be fitted every 9 inches). Fit new brake hoses using lugs on top chassis rails. Position so as not to foul springs etc on full lock. Now fit brake servo assembly and pedals in pre-cut holes, connect all pipes.

ABS brakes cannot be bled properly without the ignition on, so leave this until later. We do suggest you put some fluid in to stop the unit from drying out, you will also see if you have any leaking joints.

Engine:
All manual engines must be fitted as far back as possible so the gear lever is away from the dashboard. Autos have a connecting rod so it can be adjusted. Using Ford engine rubbers with the short stud pointing down, connect to the adaptor engine plate (we can supply you with these plates for most engines, there is a charge).

Using the gearbox rubber from Ford, fit to gearbox carrier in build kit, bolt assembly to gearbox and then to chassis. This assembly will fit 99% of all engines with a simple spacer.

Prop Shaft:
It will need shortening. We can do this or supply new (please ask).

Radiator:
Simply drop into top chassis rails and screw down. If using original fan, fit as close to the engine as possible.

Wiring Loom:
This is fitted in much the same position as it came out. There is a lot of room behind the dash to lose it. All computers should be fitted at the front of passenger's foot well.

Heater:
You can fit yours complete or we can supply a small bespoke unit to take to Ford Matrix and fan (small charge).

Fuel Tank:
We will discuss your needs at the time of order. We have fitted all types of engines to this chassis. Any problem you think you may have, please ask and we can resolve it very easily. We can supply any parts you may need for a lot less than you may think - part builds or full builds - just ask.
